As promise, I wrapped up all the bookmarks and hyperlinks for the PDF and, if you filled out your Backerkit survey, the files have been sent your way via DriveThruRPG!
Often, when DriveThru sends out 250+ email copies at once there are some that get flagged as spam or slip through the cracks. If you don't see an email in the next hour or so, please check your spam folder (or your library on DriveThru). If you still don't have a copy - message me via Kickstarter and I will resend your download code.
If you haven't filled out your Backerkit survey, then you didn't get an email from DriveThru. You gotta do the survey before I have your info in the file. It doesn't matter if I know your address or email (or you think I should), if it doesn't end up in the shipping label and/or email database, I can't send you your stuff!
Next Friday, Feb 9th, KS rewards and pre-orders in Backerkit will be locked down. Until then, you can still finalize your pledge and add any extras you may need. When I get confirmation that the binding of the books has begun (mid to late Feb), I will lock in everyone's address and charge cards for shipping.
Please note: You can select "local pickup" as your country in Backerkit but the ONLY in-person pickup we are doing will be at The Forge Tavern in Columbus, Ohio on a TBD date. (I will schedule it once books are in hand and all other orders have been sent out.)
You will NOT be able to walk into the Forge on any other day and pick up your KS rewards from their staff, nor will you be able to snag them from me, IGDN, or Studio 2 at Origins, GenCon, Lexington Comic Con, Ohio Ren, any Fairy Fest, stopping by my house, etc. So please, fill out your Backerkit... before it's too late!

After a whirlwind of a month, I am happy to report that the final files have been submitted to the printer and the order has been placed! This means that all the art is done, all the editing is done, all the layout is done... now we just have to hurry up and wait.
And finish up the PDFs. That's actually the next thing on the list, getting all the hyperlinks and bookmarks in. (Since those aren't printed things, they go in last.)
Good question! And the answer is... I don't yet know. I was supposed to have an unbound proof arriving today, but I didn't get a shipping notification for one, so I don't think it is ready. I have to review and approve that before we are assigned a production date.
I also don't know how many projects are in front of us in the queue. We could be next in line, which means they will be here WAY before we anticipated. Or we could be behind 50 other companies, which means they wouldn't even start printing till late May. This is part of the gamble of printing hardback books in the USA. We are at the mercy of "yearbook season."
When I get confirmation of our production date, I will send out the two week notice and lock in shipping addresses. We already have the card decks in hand, and all the shipping materials, and I even bought a new label printer to speed up things on the shipping end.
Soon. Very, very soon. Look to your DriveThruRPG emails towards the end of next week!
